DIY Theatre Company
DIY Theatre Company is a member-led Learning Disability Theatre Company based in Salford. In this film, produced and edited with Hilary Easter-Jones, DIY members offer their very personal views and experiences of Lockdown.
Connect LD+ : DIY and Lawnmowers meet through a national network group called Creative Minds. We collaborated and created a workshop for a Creative Minds national conference. We called the workshop Qualitree. It was an accessible way of accessing what is meant by good art via the means of role play and the different elemetns of a tree and how it is nurtured and cared for to grow well. We are both still part of the network and hope our connection continues within the network and beyond.
