Face Front Inclusive Theatre
Blue Sky Actors are Stratford Circus Arts Centres’ resident company of learning disabled and disabled performers, delivered in partnership with Face Front Inclusive Theatre. ‘Out of the Blue’ is a short film made in place of another which should have been shot around Stratford Circus Arts Centre during our summer season of Blue Sky Actors. However, out of the blue came the Covid-19 Lockdown and plans were stopped. Much like in life though, it wasn’t long until we again started to see a Blue Sky return. We met online this summer season, and the planned film project went ahead but now as a response to the Covid Lockdown. ‘Out of the Blue’ is a short film that explores what ‘Blue Sky Actors’ means to members of group in their own words.
